Anoushka Shankar / LAND OF GOLD
Sitar master Anoushka Shankar — daughter of the late Ravi Shankar and half-sister of Norah Jones — will present her powerful work Land of Gold at Big Ears 2018. Shankar explains, “The seeds of Land of Gold originated in the context of the humanitarian plight of refugees” — a timely exploration of darkness and hope certain to be a highlight of the festival.
